Come learn about the ins and outs of fall and winter vegetable gardening here on Vancouver Island. Buy winter vegetable starts and learn strategies for successful cold weather growing. Master gardeners will be on site for expert gardening information.
Do you wish you knew more about the best tools to use for pruning? Do you have broken or unused garden tools? Cripples wheelbarrows, dull pruners? Don’t toss them. Bring them to our tool event for repair, sharing, repurposing or recycling. We’ll have mini workshops on garden tool selection and care. Learn to sharpen your own tools or have them sharpened by donation. Have old cordless batteries and chargers piling up? We’ll have a swap table and a battery disposal bin. We might even be able to help with your weedwhacker.
