Kiwanis visitors in the garden
Both our sites are open for visitors between dawn and dusk. You are welcome to stop by and take a look around. We have bulletin boards at each site to give more information. If you visit during a work party, you will be able to ask questions and perhaps get a tour. Please see our calendar for events and work parties at each site. Remember, we are working gardens and we love to garden so you may have to work alongside us to converse. There is some educational signage to explain some of the gardening principles or what various things are.
If you want to bring your group to visit ,have a tour or use one of our sites as a venue for an event, please contact Lisa at blg@ncgs.ca for Beban Learning Gardens or Lee at pinestreet@ncgs.ca for the Pine Street Garden. We like to have school field trips and other groups stop by and learn about how to grow food in your neighbourhood. Please be aware we have very busy times, during which we may not be able to accommodate your group.
