Follow us on Facebook or check the bulletin board at BLG to find out about drop-in hands-on learning opportunities at the Saturday work parties to work along with BLG volunteers to learn by doing with coaching and handouts. For returning gleaners who have attended an orientation within the past 3 years only. This is not an orientation for new volunteers. These are held to orient new volunteers to the Gleaning Program for 2024. Volunteers have been picking produce from backyard trees and local farms in the region for 20 years. To become a new volunteer for this program you must attend one of these sessions. All orientations are held at the Pine St Community Garden, behind 271 Pine St. No registration required. For returning gleaners who have attended an orientation within the past 3 years only. This is not an orientation for new volunteers.
