Work Parties – Visitors Welcome

Drop in to one of our Work Parties, where volunteers gather to garden all year round. There is always something to do: mulching, digging, composting, weeding, harvesting, watering etc. There is something for every experience level and all ability levels. Work parties may be canceled in heavy rains or snow.

To find your way to one of our sites by bus, use BC Transit’s route planner. Use the address of the sites below as your destination. Each site is on a bus route and easy to find.

Behind the Foodshare Centre parking lot at 271 Pine Street

Wednesdays 11 am to 3 pm

Seasonal:

Sundays from 11 am to 2 pm*

*Beginning May 5, 2024

Beban Learning Gardens (map)

Between the Golf Course and the VIEX Grounds at Beban Park

Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 pm

Seasonal:

Mondays from 4 pm to 6 pm

Saturdays from 10 am to 12 pm
